Iz is complaining about stomach ache again, quite badly yesterday and his sleep was not good as well. "I just pray to God and ask for complete healing upon his stomach and digestive system. I pray that his appetite will return and that he will eat and grow bigger and stay active and healthy... In Jesus name, Amen!"
Already brought him to see pediatrician, specialist, and finally Chinese medication, but he is still complaining stomach pain. Maybe it is stomach flu which i will give him another week to see how it goes.... but it seems to stop for awhile and return back. Only God knows.

Speaking in Mandarin
I have previously been worried that my son is not competent in Mandarin as he usually speaks english to everyone.
Just about a month ago, he started speaking Mandarin to everyone! and when we replied in English, he would ask again in Mandarin and would be satisfied when we answered back in Mandarin!
He has also been taking extra classes in Mandarin (called Odanata class), dad also bought him some books to learn on Chinese writing strokes, and am glad that he is picking up well!
Kids learn fast!!! I would be learing Mandarin from him now...

Tentang Emak (BM)
Orang kata aku lahir dari perut mak...
(bukan org kata...memang betul)
Bila dahaga, yang susukan aku.... mak
Bila lapar, yang suapkan aku.... mak
Bila keseorangan, yang sentiasa di sampingku.. .. mak
Kata mak, perkataan pertama yang aku sebut.... Mak
Bila bangun tidur, aku cari.... mak
Bila nangis, orang pertama yang datang .... mak
Bila nak bermanja, aku dekati....... mak
Bila nak bergesel, aku duduk sebelah.... mak
Bila sedih, yang boleh memujukku hanya.... mak
Bila nakal, yang memarahi aku.... mak
Bila merajuk, yang memujukku cuma...... mak
Bila melakukan kesalahan, yang paling cepat marah.... mak
Bila takut, yang tenangkan aku.... mak
Bila nak peluk, yang aku suka peluk.... mak
Aku selalu teringatkan ..... mak
Bila sedih, aku mesti talipon.... mak
Bila seronok, orang pertama aku nak beritahu..... mak
Bila bengang.. aku suka luah pada.. mak
Bila takut, aku selalu panggil... "mmaaakkkk! "
Bila sakit, orang paling risau adalah.... mak
Bila nak exam, orang paling sibuk juga.... mak
Bila buat hal, yang marah aku dulu.... mak
Bila ada masalah, yang paling risau.... mak
Yang masih peluk dan cium aku sampai hari ni.. mak
Yang selalu masak makanan kegemaranku.... mak
kalau balik ke kampung, yang selalu bekalkan ulam & lauk pauk..... mak
Yang selalu simpan dan kemaskan barang-barang aku.... mak
Yang selalu berleter kat aku... mak
Yang selalu puji aku.... mak
Yang selalu nasihat aku...... mak
Bila nak kahwin..Orang pertama aku tunjuk dan rujuk..... mak
Aku ada pasangan hidup sendiri....

I need positive parenting skills!!

Need to read the above and fuel in some positive parenting tips as my parenting skills deteriorate as stress kicks in!!!
sighhh... its really difficult to be a good parents especially when the kid is not feeling well and is constantly demanding! crying for no reason (my isaac sometimes is like that, and recently is...)
Here is an exerpt:
Why it's Cool to Keep Your Cool
You've heard the phrase, "living up to expectations." We often relate this phrase to good or positive expectations that a child is excelling or achieving great things. However, this phrase also goes the other way. A child will live up to positive expectations or negative expectations alike.
Your child is living up to your expectations right now. What are you expecting of your child? What are you telling them in those moments when you are frustrated?
In exasperation, do phrases like "you're so aggravating" or "why are you so difficult?" or "why can't you ever do anything right?" or "you're such a trouble-maker," ever slip from your lips? Those phrases spoken in haste are labels that your child will begin to live up to, literally.
This is why it is so crucial that, as parents, we are able to keep our cool when the situation is tense. Once uttered, those words can never be taken back. A 'sorry' does little to neutralize the effects of hurtful words.
So, on those craziest of days when you are at your wits end and overwhelmed, exhausted, and frustrated - take a deep breath, check your perspective, get a little goofy, look at those adorable baby pictures, and count your blessings. You are raising the future of the world within those four walls of your home.
The awesome part about this is that it can be fun! And it should be fun! There is a reason they refer to the childhood years as magical. Seize those fleeting moments and enjoy that magic with your child.
Parenting can be one wild, exhilarating ride. So please take your seat, make sure your safety belt is securely fastened, keep all arms and legs inside the vehicle, and have a blast!
