I ran into a stranger as he passed by, "Oh excuse me please" was my reply.He said, "Please excuse me too;I wasn't watching for you.
"We were very polite, this stranger and I.We went on our way and we said goodbye..

But at home a different story is told,How we treat our loved ones, young and old.

Later that day, cooking the evening meal, My son stood beside me very still.
When I turned, I nearly knocked him down."Move out of the way," I said with a frown.
He walked away, his little heart broken.I didn't realize how harshly I'd spoken.

While I lay awake in bed,God's still small voice came to me and said,"While dealing with a stranger, common courtesy you use, but the family you love, you seem to abuse.

Go and look on the kitchen floor,You'll find some flowers there by the door.
Those are the flowers he brought for you.He picked them himself: pink, yellow and blue.
He stood very quietly not to spoil the surprise,you never saw the tears that filled his little eyes."

By this time, I felt very small,And now my tears began to fall.
I quietly went and knelt by his bed;"Wake up, little one, wake up," I said."Are these the flowers you picked for me?"
He smiled, "I found 'em, out by the tree. I picked 'em because they're pretty like you.
I knew you'd like 'em, especially the blue."

I said, "Son, I'm very sorry for the way I acted today;I shouldn't have yelled at you that way." He said, "Oh, Mom, that's okay.I love you anyway.

" I said, "Son, I love you too,and I do like the flowers, especially the blue."

Are you aware that if we died tomorrow, the companythat we are working for could easily replace us in a matter of days. But the family we left behind will feel the lossfor the rest of their lives.And come to think of it, we pour ourselves moreinto work than into our own family, an unwise investment indeed, don't you think? So what is behind the story?

My dear Amanda is coughing with plegms

She got it from her brother. Now I pray that the healing hands of God will be upon her to heal her completely. Lord, please clear her plegms, heal her throat, and remove the flu virus from her.
I also pray for Isaac, as he is still coughing. Please heal him as well.
Thank you Lord for bringing back his appetite. May both of them continue to eat well and grow into healthy kids. Strengthen their immune system and protect them against any danger!
Amen.

Lord, please heal Amanda

I pray that the Lord Jesus will heal Amanda Chin from her muscle spasms that are still recurring when she is about to sleep. Though this doesn't happen every time, it does happen when there is a change of temperature surrounding (like moving from the car to a restaurant), or when we are carrying her while she is getting drowsy. It does make me worry! I just hope and pray that this will go off soon, cos if it doesn't go off by 4-6mths, then we have to seek further medical help.
Only the Sovereign Lord is able to heal her... Please heal her from her muscle twitching, only in Jesus' name I pray. Amen.

Year 2009

The year 2009 for me has just started cos I had just started work after my 2 mth maternity leave since last Dec 08.
Now Isaac is already 3 years old, Amanda is just 2 mths old! I am glad to have 2 kids now.
Back to work, and I'm slowly catching up all the job functions which has been previously taken up by my other colleagues...
Now as I start work, I pray that God will grant strength & patience to my MIL so that she will be able to take care of Isaac and baby Amanda.
I also pray that I will be able to adjust back to work properly.
